1030.11 – Nine Dots

Here are nine dots. Put the point of your pencil down on the page and draw four straight segments that connect all of the dots. You may not lift your pencil until you're through. You may cross a segment you have drawn, but you may not re-trace any part of any segment.

There are extra copies of the dots in case you need them.

Solution

The trick is to go "outside" the dots. This may well be the original problem from which the phrase "thinking outside the box" came from.
