A butler and maid wipe down a rectangular table, 5’ by 10’, that is covered with crumbs. The butler walks from A to B brushing the crumbs as far as he can in the direction of point C at every step. His arms and the brush total 30” long. Then, walking along the side with C on it, he again uses the brush to sweep all the crumbs on that half of the table towards the dustpan, which the maid holds ready at C.
